I have been speaking, teaching, coaching, and—at times—coercing my readers and students to be a version of themselves that is whole, brilliant, and powerful.
Why?
So that we can collectively and consciously be a force—a power—for good. Good behavior and good intentions have their place, but individuals who have cleared the path to their soul by doing the inner journey work are a force to be reckoned with.
While the fools at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue make decisions that horrifically impact millions, we—those who are conscious and aware—must find and maintain our grounding. We are called to see the idiocracy and not be moved by it. We must speak truth to power while standing firmly in our God-ordained power. We must choose wisely, vote accordingly, and act responsibly to help shape a world we actually want to live in.
IT’S TIME TO BE PART OF AN AWAKENED ALLIANCE OF GOOD -
OF LOVE - OF TRUTH!
And—we must model peace, compassion, love, and acceptance.
Don’t you dare think this is some wimpy call to action.
Those who can stay calm in the midst of chaos are the ones creating the future we long for: a future where fear is no longer the filter through which we see strangers, and where danger is not projected onto every unknown face. When we are grounded in Truth and Principle, our vantage point allows us to witness what’s happening without being consumed by it.
If you’re anything like me, you might have one foot in the news cycle and the other rooted in spiritual principle. We don’t want to live with our heads in the sand—being uninformed is not the same as choosing consciously where to invest our energy. Yes, we all have opinions—and as they say, opinions are like a**holes: everybody’s got one. But what matters is what you do with that opinion.
Unaware, you could be spreading toxic fear and panic. Grounded, you become a calm and steady presence, able to see the insanity and respond with intention—adding your energy to what you want to see grow, and inviting others to do the same. Not through coercion, but through modeling.
Yes, they pulled the trigger—figuratively or literally—but what you do next with that information matters deeply.
Here’s what I suggest:
Anchor yourself daily in spiritual practice—prayer, meditation, journaling, or whatever connects you to Truth.
Engage with the world, but from a place of inner clarity.
Choose what you amplify: fear or faith, chaos or calm, reaction or response.
Speak out, vote, contribute—but do it all from your higher self, not your triggered self.
Most importantly, be a living invitation to peace. Let others feel safe in your presence—not because you avoid hard truths, but because you embody a greater one.
And while this might sound a tad manipulative, it is not intended that way. Invest time in yourself healing your inner trauma, which leaves you more powerful, join thousands of other people who have taken seriously their forgiveness and shadow work and become more authentically who they were born to be.

Thank you Michelle, so glad you sent out the line to lead me back to you and us and the depth of what we value in this amazing thing called Life.
I totally agree and while i have not invested in public sharing for 5 years as i have been doing a big shift and UPPLift for myself and my own work so that i am more at peace with me and all around. it is the most important work we can do as leaders.
Thank you for committing to this out front live way of being. barbara
